A quick gift using Sola Wood Flowers

December 04, 2019

Need a last-minute gift?  We have a super-fast project that you can make as simple or over the top you want!

Supply List:

First, you will want to cut the wood to the size you want for the project, for this calendar I went with a fairly large board at 9" x12"  so I added a dowel to the back to add additional stabilization.

Paint, stain, decoupage really anything you want to your board.  For this one, I stained my wood board (Minwax -Jacobean).  Figure out where you want the calendar card to go and attach your clip to the board.  Don't want to make a calendar?  This project also make a great customizable picture frame!

Now we get to the fun part..... add your sola wood flowers!  Be creative and play around with the placement of the flowers.  For this project, we farmed opposite corners.  To attach the flowers and greenery to the board we used hot glue.

This is one of these projects that honestly you can go as simplistic or as complex as you want.  If you make one make sure to share with us over on facebook on our business page or heck join our facebook group and share it there!

Want to see a live tutorial on this project?  Well, here you go, hope you enjoy this super quick project!

Happy crafting!
