A quick gift using Sola Wood Flowers

Now updated with a 2023 calendar!

Need a last-minute gift?  We have a super-fast project that you can make as simple or over the top you want! 

Supply List:

  • Wood (whatever size you want)
  • bulldog clips
  • screws or E6000 glue (however you would like to adhere the bulldog clips) 
  • Calendar printable.. download it here
  • Sola wood flowers 
  • greenery
  • dowel (optional)

First, you will want to cut the wood to the size you want for the project, for this calendar I went with a fairly large board at 9" x12"  so I added a dowel to the back to add additional stabilization.

Paint, stain, decoupage really anything you want to your board.  For this one, I stained my wood board (Minwax -Jacobean).  Figure out where you want the calendar card to go and attach your clip to the board.  Don't want to make a calendar?  This project also make a great customizable picture frame!

Now we get to the fun part..... add your sola wood flowers!  Be creative and play around with the placement of the flowers.  For this project, we farmed opposite corners.  To attach the flowers and greenery to the board we used hot glue.
